Revenue / Gas Plant Auditor

AMS-PAR is an independent audit and litigation support company headquartered in Houston, Texas. Our clients include large and small E&P companies, refiners, chemical processors, power generators and distributors, Trusts, and individual royalty owners. We are seeking individuals with demonstrated contract compliance experience associated with revenue and gas plant accounting, as well as leading project assignments to our growing team.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Interpret complex contracts
  • Ensure
    • Engagement objectives are properly defined
    • Tests are designed to achieve engagement objectives
    • Work, including conclusions reached, is well documented
    • Engagements are completed successfully within budget
  • Lead / guide project teams
  • Assist on other engagements as needed (e.g., vendor and joint venture audits)
Key Qualifications: 
  • Extensive revenue and gas plant accounting, project, or audit experience
  • Knowledgeable about State and Federal regulatory requirements
  • Strong data management / analytical skills (Excel, Access, or other data management tools)
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Logical thinker
  • Willingness to travel
  • Demonstrated competency
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, engineering, or related field
  • At least five years of experience

Other Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior consulting or project management experience
  • Working knowledge of gas plants and revenue allocations
  • Mid-Stream Company Experience
  • Audit and/or contract compliance experience
  • Working knowledge of SAP and other ERP systems
  • Measurement audit experience a plus
